| He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in 1994. He made great contributions to the construction of large information system project. He has got more than 20 S&T achievements in a number of fields, such as information defense and security technology, new displaying and handling technology, information optics and chemistry, and 10 achievements were conferred with National Invention Awards and National Award of Science and Technology Advancement. At present, he is director of the Beijing Institute of Information Technology and Application. |
