| He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in 1995. He has been engaging in the development of supersonic pneumatic ground test equipments and the study of the pneumatic theory and experiments of strategic weapons and carrier rockets for a long time. He took charge of and led the demonstrability and construction of the technical transformation scheme of the "921" program. In the research and development of ground test equipments, he creatively established the transverse impulse ground test equipment in China which laid the foundation for solving the key pneumatic problems in the development of satellites and carrier rockets. He led the development of scale model free flight testing technique and achieved great research results. He has successively served as deputy director, chief engineer, research fellow of China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center. |
