| He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in 1955. He has been engaging in national defense scientific research for a long time. He won quite a few prizes, such as the first prize of National Award of Science and Technology Advancement, the third prize of State Invention Awards, and so on. Due to his remarkable contribution to the development of the cause of China’s national defense science and technology, he was conferred with the Model Medal of First Class Model Hero in 1992. At present, he is a research fellow of the No. 51 Research Institute of the Headquarters of the General Staff and a visiting professor of the School of Electronics of Information Engineering University of the PLA. |
