| He was elected a member of the academic committee of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1991. In his career years, he engage in the study of nerve system tracing and chemical neuroanatomy. In the last decade, he discovered and made an in-depth study of the direct neural regulation of the hypophysis anterior lobe, and put forward the hypothesis that the hypophysis anterior lobe is subjected to the double regulation of the nerve and body fluid. Recently, he has committed himself to the study of spinal cord regeneration. In 1996, he was conferred with the title of “A Prestigious Master of His Generation” by the General Logistic Department of the PLA. At present, he is a professor of No.4 Military Medical University, director of the Institute of Neurosciences Research, and a member of Discipline Appraisal Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of State Council.His work, Method of Neurotomy, is collected in “Local Literature · Collection of Works by Celebrities of Ningbo Natives” of the Ningbo Municipal Library. |
