| He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in1995. He created the measuring techniques of parameters of initial nuclear radiation and radioactive pollution, on-the-spot radiation safety monitoring, and upper air nuclear cloud sampling techniques in China’s nuclear test. He started and developed the nuclear explosion safety dosimetry, nuclear explosion detecting, nuclear monitoring equipment series and standardization of military use in the specialty of nuclear monitoring of the PLA. He started the scientific and technological study of off-board emergency radiation monitoring of China’s nuclear power station. He took part in the standardization technology study of China’s nuclear apparatus and got great achievements. He was conferred with First Class Merit Citation. At present, he is a research fellow of the Academy of Defense Chemistry of the General Armament Department of the PLA. |
